Who’s hosting this event?
This fundraiser is hosted by Christina Almeida through her sustainable events company Pildora. Christina was raised in Chihuahua, Mexico and moved to the United States as a young girl. Based in New York City, it is her dream to continue to bridge the gap between the United States and Mexico through meaningful experiences.
“There is so much more to Mexico than people in the US realize, its not sand, sun and margaritas! It’s family, it’s tradition, it’s history, tribes, and indigenous people. Mexico is truly a beautiful place that holds within it treasures like the Raramuri communities. There is so much we can learn from the Raramuri communities and the way they live. But they also need our help to maintain their way of life in our ever-evolving world.”
